As always the packaging is very elegant, slim and sleek and it feels quite nice. It is very Estee Lauder-ish. I love it. It feels like a good quality product and it is very pleasing to the eye. It has a distinctive smell typical for Estee Lauder lipglosses but not noticeable when on the lips.

Rebellious Violet looks quite sparkly and purple in the tube but it looks less intense and sheerer (but not completely sheer) on the lips. It is very sparkly but it does not look frosty on lips just lovely and shimmery.

Rebellious Violet is very easy to apply; it goes on smoothly and evenly. The texture is soft and not gritty at all. It is not sticky. It has a sponge applicator, which in my opinion is more precise and easier to use than bristles. The finish is very radiant and shimmery (it looks lovely on Violet Crush lipstick!). The lasting power with no lip primer or balm underneath is surprisingly long, which is about 5 hours without any talking or drinking. For a lipgloss I think it is a great result!

Overall, I totally recommend it. It is definitely my favourite lipgloss at the moment! A.
