The goodies I purchased from Mac Apres Chic collection are:

Mac Apres Chic Lipstick is a muted shade of red.
I would say it is like a brownish spicy red in the bullet but with less brown and more red when on your lips.
The packaging is standard for Mac lipsticks,
black and solid.

Apres Chic is easy to apply; it goes on very
smoothly and evenly. The consistency is soft and it is nicely pigmented so you
can build up the intensity if you want. You would need at least two swipes to
cover your lips completely unless you just want nice pinch of colour on your
lips you can just do one swipe. It is a creamsheen so it has an opaque and
very, very shiny finish. It does stain your lips a tiny little bit, which is
always a nice surprise (that way the colour lasts longer). The lasting power is
unfortunately less than 3 hours (which is below average, at that price point is slightly disappointing) in office environment but with a lot of
talking, no eating and no drinking. It is a shame because it is a lovely colour
and when you are at work you usually do not want to or do not have the time to
re-apply your lipstick so often!

Similar shades: the best thing for me is that I DO NOT have any
similar shades, which makes me both surprised and happy about my choice! All I
have is bright reds, blue reds or orange reds and Apres Chic is a muted
brownish red, which also makes it more wearable than others! It is a win-win (well, except the wear time)!
